Our Story

Reel Neet started out as a joke between friends: a “real neat” idea to start cutting grass for friends.

That’s how Reel Neet Erosion Control began– as a lawn service in 1992 with two men and a lawn mower, edger and weed eater.

We quickly grew from those humble beginnings. After about a year of working for friends and other residential customers, we landed one of our first commercial accounts.

Around the mid 90s, we realized how saturated the landscaping industry had become and decided to diversify when we saw the demand for erosion and sediment control services. It didn’t take long for Reel Neet to become the standard for excellence in erosion and sediment control in the Mid-South.

In 2009, Reel Neet began working in the energy corridor, which included working on a Kinder Morgan/MEP pipeline that spans from Oklahoma to Alabama. This project included putting the dirt back to its natural state, erosion and sediment control and grassing miles of pipeline. We still perform work for Kinder Morgan and Denbury on their pipelines by bush hogging and repairing erosion issues.
